Damaged goods:
all of our products are packaged and delivered with utmost care. If products are faulty or damaged during transport please contact our customer care immediately (within ten days of delivery date) who will help you to return the product and obtain a refund. Each item is wrapped in "Bubble Pack" and individually boxed .The "individual" cartons are then placed inside another box for "double-protection" as most delivery carriers require.The packing material are clean and suitable for gift wrapping.

Return Policy:
ITALIANHANDMADEPOTTERY takes pride in selling only the highest quality ceramic pieces. However, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer exchanges or store credit for up to 15 days. Please pack your piece(s) to be returned carefully to avoid breakage. All pieces intended for use with food are 100% lead free. They have all been FDA tested and approved for use with food. While all pieces are dishwasher, we recommend treating them as the fine art that they are, hand-washing and avoiding the microwave as much as possible. With repeated use, ceramics have a tendency to craze (form tiny lines in the glaze). This does not affect the durability of the piece in fact, some people like the antiqued look added by the crazing process. You can minimize crazing and breakage, however, by avoiding drastic temperature changes. For example, run warm water over a piece before filling it with hot food or liquid, put a metal spoon in a mug before adding a hot liquid, hand-wash when possible, and avoid the microwave.

Each ceramic piece is handmade and painted individually. The process is extremely precise and involved. As a result, each piece varies slightly in color, shape and design. Occasionally, you will notice a small paint smudge, fingerprint, or loose-fitting lid. These marks of authenticity serve to remind us of the human hands that crafted each piece.Sales

Delivery Policy
We deliver our products by UPS or FEDEX couriers. We deliver abroad by selected express courier only which allows us to deliver our products in perfect conditions in a short amount of time. Your order would normally be sent within 7-10 days. For special products your order could be sent within 3-4 weeks.

Receiving Your Shipment

Please open your box(es) as soon as possible to inspect the contents for damage. You must contact us within 7 days from the delivery date so that we can make an insurance claim on any items that were damaged while in transit. If an item was damaged upon inspection, please use the following procedure:

Save all packing materials.
Photograph the packing material and the damaged piece in detail.
E-MAIL us with your full name, address, phone number, and attach your photos.
Please do not ship the damaged item back to us until we give you proper instructions.

Duty Tax

In some instances, customs officials may require you to pay a duty tax when your shipment arrives in your home country. This is not an added shipping charge from our company. Each country applies different standards and calculations. Please check with customs officials in your country for more information.


What if I would like to return an item?

Our return policy applies to ONLY incorrect or damaged purchases from ITALIANHANDMADEPOTTERY.COM .In those cases, you may return the item in exchange for a new item or request a full reimbursement of the original price (excluding the original shipping charges).In the case of reimbursement, we will refund your credit card within 10 days of receiving the items. We willl notify you of your reimbursement via e-mail once we have received and processed the return. If you ask to exchange your item with another piece, we will let you know of the availability.
